This will be the first of many socially distanced activities sponsored by the Yale Park Neighborhood Association! Hope you can join us!
Who: Yale Park neighbors, Open to all ages, to be done as families and as a block/group
What: Adopt a block - walk over as a group to your adopted block(s). With colorful chalk, say what you like about their house or yard or about living in our neighborhood! Choose words and pictures that will inspire and give a “Warm Fuzzy” to your neighbors.
When: Sunday, 2/21, 4:00 (in case of rain, back up date is 2/28)
Before the event:
Simply RSVP via email to email@example.com that you want to participate. Serena Johnson will deliver the chalk. (If you already have chalk or are willing to buy your own, please let me know! As well, if you are willing to donate chalk or $ to buy chalk please let me know)
During the event:
Before drawing in front of a house, please ring the doorbell and wait from a distance of 6 feet. Explain to them that you are there as part of a Yale Park Neighborhood Association Event, where you and your family are drawing pictures on sidewalks to encourage unity across our neighborhood. Ask them if they are okay with you drawing in front of their house.
If they say yes, please introduce yourself!
If they say no, please move on to the next home.
